Gesocial is an extranet to manage the social services which public administration provides for the citizen. The platform interacts with the information systems already in use, recovering the data from the archives of the various institutions.Gesocial is used every time a citizen comes into contact with a member of the social services in order to request a benefit, or when an operator acts upon his or her own initiative in a situation which has been envisaged by the system of services. The platform enables the management of agendas and commitments of operators, the management of payable benefits, taking into account the items of expenditure and resources available. It allows the sharing of services between related authorities on the platform, optimizing resources and management costs.
